Í Bergmáli, sem nú er til sýnis í Ljósmyndasafni Reykjavíkur, bræðast saman verk tveggja kvenna; Charlottu Maríu Hauksdóttur og Sonju Thomsen. Sonja kemur frá Bandaríkjunum en þær námu báðar við San Francisco Art Institute og útskrifuðust samtímis árið 2004. „Viðfangsefnið er tíminn og endurbirting hins liðna og má segja að titillinn vísi ekki aðeins til þess hvernig hið liðna endurvarpast inn í nútímann heldur einnig til þess hvernig verkin á sýningunni kallast á,“ segir á heimasíðu safnsins. Leiðsögn verður um sýninguna þann 10. febrúar klukkan 21.

In Echo, which is now being shown at the Reykjavik Museum of Photography, works of two women fuse together. The Icelandic photographer Charlotta María Hauksdóttir and the conceptual artist Sonja Thomsen from the United States studied together at San Francisco Art Institute from where they graduated in 2004. It says on the museum´s website that the “…theme of the exhibition is time and reccurrence of the past thus the title is not only a reference to the way that the past resonates throughout the present, but also in the way that the works on display resonate with one another.” There will be a guided tour of the exhibition on the 10. of February at 9 pm.
